I decided to dedicate a post to my lovely cats, because they are the main reason I am able to get through my everyday life! I know this doesn't really "go" with my blog, but I figure it's necessary since I love them so much c:
The first cat I have is Peaches. I love this cat dearly. He is so chilled out, and he is always cute, and happy. I love watching him roam around the yard and catch stuff. Like bugs, and frogs. He is really funny. Peaches is probably 5 or 6 years old! We traded in two mating turkeys to a lady who owns a (baby) animal petting zoo, and Peaches was getting beat up from the other male cats :(. When my dad acknowledged Peach , the lady asked my dad if he wanted the cat, and my dad said "Hell yeah!" Pretty good trade, a wicked cat, for two turkeys that happened to "run" away from the farm after... We still have Peaches, so lucky trade! He is not a very good sleeping partner, because he moves around too much, he snores, and he is very noisy. Not to mention he is sort of a big cat. He isn't (REALLY) fat, but he is really just a big built cat. Everyone that comes over tells me that they want to steal Peaches, because he is such a nice cat. We rescued him! And he rescued me, because I have a very small amount of friends, and due to being antisocial, he is basically my best friend. I tell him everything, because he does not judge, no matter what I tell him.
He is rolling in dog fur after I just brushed the dogs... Very cute... And weird
The second cat we have is called Nick. Dad, and I suspect that she has been kicked out of her previous home, because for a stray cat, she sure loves it inside. So, I am guessing she was an indoor cat. At the beginning of summer, I found her in the garage, and she hung out there for a little while, until I decided to catch her and take her to the vet. The vet said that she was from the Humane Society, when the other owners registered her tattoo. They said her name was Bailey, but she has never responded to Bailey, ever.. They also said that she was 11 years old, which I think is a load of fooey. I think they read the tattoo wrong. They also said they called the previous owner, and there was "no answer" which I also think is a fib, but whatever. So we were kind of stuck with her. Truthfully, I wasn't fond of her at first. She poops on the floor (STILL), and she is really mean to Peaches which isn't cool. But, my dad said we could keep her. She is a sweetie, and when I first brought her into the house, it took her a few hours to warm up to me, but she came and sat beside me on the couch, and she was letting me pet her. After a while, she warmed up to the place, and now she has adopted me. She is very snuggly, and cute, and her fur is very soft. She is very weird though. She still does poos on the floor, and beats up Peaches :c, when I move out I will take her, and Peaches will have his yard and house back, because he loves being outside too much, and it would be cruel to keep him trapped in the apartment all by himself with no frogs to catch! She is very playful TOO! She sleeps with me all night, and purrs so softly, and keeps me warm. I am glad she adopted me, because it sometimes seems like I am not wanted by anyone, so at least she thinks I am good enough to be her friend!
She's not too crazy about having her picture taken, but she is so cute.
I know it is silly to say that a cat has saved you, but if you felt as if you had no one, and nothing to live for, but your cats made you happier than anything, then I think it is appropriate to say that your cat has saved your life. I definitely would not have been able to get through high school without Peaches to cuddle with, and to play with. And I definitely would have felt lost if Nick didn't choose me as her master. I hope everyone can have a playful, cute, animal companion to keep them company when they are lonely.
